Consignment Terms

At this time, we do not offer trades or buyouts.

At Opulent Habits, we take exceptional care of every handbag we receive, treating each one as if it were our own. Our goal is to help you earn top dollar for your item—within realistic market expectations—while aiming for a timely sale. Some pieces sell quickly, while others may take several months depending on demand.

To take advantage of the 5% commission bonus, the original item must sell before the bonus can be applied toward a new purchase. Please note that items currently on consignment do not qualify as store credit. If you’d like to reserve an item while waiting for your consignment piece to sell, a deposit will be required.

All consigned items must be physically sent to us and are required to remain with us for a minimum of 60 days. This timeframe allows us to market the item effectively. For U.S.-based consignors, we provide pre-paid shipping labels for items valued at $2,500 or less. After the 60-day period, items may be returned upon request, with return shipping costs covered by the consignor.

Due to the recent growth in our inventory, not all items on consignment will be featured on social media or photographed for marketing purposes.

Please note: We do not currently offer consignment for used shoes or any clothing. We do accept brand new luxury shoes on consignment, offered at a 60%/40% commission split.
