How does Entrupy work?
Entrupy uses artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to authenticate select luxury branded handbags and accessories. Entrupy customers submit microscopic images of logos, leathers, hardware, and materials via the Entrupy device and app where the algorithms will score the item as either authentic or unverified based on the images submitted.
How accurate are the results?
We are proud to say that our accuracy rating is 99.1% but even better is we back every certificate we produce with a financial guarantee. What that means is that If we get it wrong, we will buy that item from you covering your financial loss.
Which brands can you authenticate?
We currently support the top 15 luxury brands which you can find here, with plans to offer support to new brands and categories in the future.
Can you authenticate an item for me if I send you photos?
Unfortunately no, we do not authenticate by photos but if you are in need of an authentication, we have a worldwide network of Entrupy Verified Businesses in which you can bring your item(s) in for an Entrupy authentication. Please click here to find a retailer close to you.

What do you mean by Established Business?
To fit this criteria, you must provide a copy of a valid Business License or Certificate of Incorporation along with a working website* and/or social media accounts. *some exceptions may apply
What happens if Entrupy issues an incorrect result?
We stand behind every certificate produced within the Entrupy app and back each one with a financial guarantee. What that means is if we get it wrong, we will cover your financial loss. To learn more, click here.
How long does it take to authenticate an item?
It normally takes a user between 3-5 minutes to submit an item for authentication through the Entrupy app with results being issued within 60 seconds to 60 minutes. *Hermes being the exception to this rule which can take up to 24 hours.
Are people looking at the images and making a determination if an item is authentic or not?
Yes and No. Yes, our support team is monitoring submissions to verify that the algorithms are scoring correctly but no, we are not authenticating by the photos submitted through the Entrupy device.
How do I purchase an Item on Layaway?
- A 20% initial payment is required, with the remaining balance due within 30-60 days. (For items under $1500, the timeframe may be 30 days and deposit amount is 50%.) For newer arrivals, a layaway fee may apply.
- Items can only be reserved with a deposit. Once deposited, buyers have 30 to 60 days to complete the payment, depending on their needs. Failure to complete payment within the agreed-upon timeframe renders the deposit nonrefundable. Deposits cannot be transferred between items. Reach out to us if payment completion faces challenges (daily late fees may apply).
- Items are neither shipped nor available for pickup until the full payment is made. By placing a deposit, you commit fully to the item and agree to pay it off within the specified time frame. The layaway option is offered in consideration of our sellers, and if life circumstances interfere, please plan accordingly.

Return & Exchange Policy
Please note that we do not offer returns or exchanges on any purchases. Since our items are consignment pieces, once sold, the consignor has been compensated, making all sales final. We kindly ask that you take this policy into consideration while shopping with us. For any specific inquiries regarding an item, please don't hesitate to reach out via email.
Additionally, please be aware that all items listed for sale are in pre-owned condition unless otherwise noted as 'brand new'. We encourage you to carefully review all photos, including zooming in, before making a purchase. If any flaws are visible in the photos but not explicitly mentioned in the description, they are not considered misrepresentations.
All items are pre-owned and may carry a scent from their previous environment, such as perfume, storage, or cleaning products. While we do our best to note any strong or unusual odors, scent is highly subjective and can vary in perception from person to person. Because of this, odors are not considered a valid reason for return or exchange. We kindly ask that individuals who are particularly sensitive to smells take this into account before making a purchase.
Warranties
We do not offer warranties on any items. Once a sale is completed, any wear or tear that occurs thereafter is the buyer's responsibility. Please note that we are not affiliated with the brands we sell, and as such, we cannot be held accountable for the quality or durability of materials used in production. Our responsibility is limited to the condition and authenticity of the item at the time of sale.
Authenticity Guarantee
All items listed are guaranteed to be authentic. However, in the rare event that you believe you've received an inauthentic or inaccurately described item, we will accept returns in these specific circumstances. Please contact us at opulenthabits@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery confirmation. For discrepancies regarding item condition or description, we require detailed photos to be sent immediately.
Inauthenticity Claims
If you suspect an item is inauthentic, you must provide proof of inauthenticity from a reputable authenticator that contradicts our authenticity claim. Please note that we only accept authenticity verification from recognized, credible sources—sales associates, friends, or online blogs/websites do not constitute valid proof. We encourage you to seek a second opinion prior to reaching out to us, as we will require the proper documentation before proceeding with any claims. All items are guaranteed authentic, and we highly recommend that buyers who feel uncertain about purchasing pre-owned goods seek 3rd party professional authentication for additional peace of mind and satisfaction.
